Full Metal Jacket, what a film, oh my God... "The best scene? The brain of Palla di Lardo dripping on the bathroom tiles." Trash aside, when I saw this film it left me in shock, nothing compared to Apocalypse Now (not that I dislike it). "Saving Private Ryan" is another great piece, it definitely made an impact, and it's as commercial as Full Metal Jacket can be, I don't see the point in attacking it; Spielberg isn't trash, and then there's Tom Hanks, come on, does anyone have anything to say against Tom Hanks?
