live is definitely better than live in l.a. ...at least you can understand and see something even if it’s full of overdubs..
I don’t get how anyone can say that live in l.a. is a good album!
Either you don’t like death or you don’t like music (which is pretty much the same thing).
Mythical.. tight jeans, black t-shirt, Casio and b.c. rich.. he was the last remaining metalhead and maybe he’s always been the only one.
Hatred for nuclear blast.

a disgraceful album recorded in a disgraceful manner that in no way does justice to what Chuck accomplished in all his years of career. If he were still alive, he would have opposed the release of this crap. Live in Eindhoven is a bit better, although there are quite a few overdubs there. I keep listening to them on record, which is better. All my hatred to those at Nuclear Blast... sooner or later I'll go to Berlin to burn down their offices.

live in l.a. is the most obscene thing that has come out in recent years... it's a scandal to turn masterpieces like trapped in a corner or crystal mountain into those sounds and that recording that has nothing to do with the spirit of death... if only chuck had been alive, he would have never allowed the release of such obscenity... all my hatred goes to those at nuclear blast.

In my opinion, you should recommend and not discourage newcomers to the genre from approaching this album, which is definitely more listenable than the rest of the production and other brutal bands. It's closer to classic metal, in my opinion... there's also a fair amount of melody!! If you don't really like brutal (like me), give this album a listen...

I don't really like brutal that much, and in fact this album isn't the best even though they're still trying to do something new. However, 'and then you'll beg' is a masterpiece!!!
