Mhnnnnn maybe you’re right about it being taken directly from the comic, but in my opinion, that’s not a good thing; transferring a story too faithfully to film can end up being clunky. A bit of creativity is always needed, especially if the viewer has to sit for 2 hours in front of the screen to understand the story. That’s why comic fans often don’t view film adaptations favorably...

Good review, I fondly remember the animated show I used to watch as a kid, I really enjoyed this film – certainly the best in the series, unlike those pieces of crap "Batman and Robin" and "Batman Begins."
