Jackie Chan Police Story

Hey "there" .. watch Drunken Master 2, known as "the legend of drunken master" by Jackie Chan. Considered a milestone of 90s martial arts cinema. Extraordinary! But as Armando said "what am I telling you for" :-)

The Punisher and the cold: what are you talking about! Hehe, first of all, Police Story is a film from 1985, it’s not an American flick but a film that teaches Americans how to make a real action movie. Still on about Jet Li and Tony Jaa? Jet Li has a different style; he embodies the neoclassicism of kung fu, he’s a martial arts athlete in a didactic sense, while Jackie breaks the mold by introducing the comedic element into martial arts, and that’s much harder! Because Jackie’s physique becomes a living cartoon, not just kung fu moves but also acrobatics, object fights, slapstick antics… Jet Li can’t do these things! While Jackie has proven that if he wants to get SERIOUS, he can do it beautifully! Technically, he’s a monster! And it’s not just me saying this; martial arts experts agree. Watch Police Story and we’ll talk about it again. Meanwhile, Tony Jaa, by his own admission, is an emulator of Jackie! A great acrobatic fighter and… THAT’S IT! To be superior to a legend like Jackie Chan, it’s not enough to do eight somersaults or splits under speeding trucks; that just shows you’re a good athlete. Jackie was a master of physicality!! Charisma, style, frantic dynamism—things that the young Tony Jaa lacks. Jackie arrived in Hollywood as an old man, okay. But despite everything, he continues to produce emulators all over the world. But there was only one Jackie Chan! And if you still have doubts about his fighting skills (just because he makes you laugh!!) watch his masterpieces like Drunken Master, Fearless Hyena, Young Master; they are milestones! They are the bible of kung fu. At least according to the experts.

My review is about to arrive. The Third Mother in two words: IN and OUT.
Neri Parenti Christmas In Love

Excellent review! Neri Parenti has gone from Fantozzi, which, although repetitive, had fantastic comedy, to films that would make those poor Marx brothers turn in their graves! Along with Zelig and Scary Movie, Neri Parenti is the anti-comedy!! (like all the comedic cinepanettoni)
Daft Punk Electroma
Voto:
Ghemison, I have nothing against dance music. I own the entire discography of Daft Punk! I'm just saying that a film like Electroma has nothing to do with dance music, and nobody would think that two dancefloor phenomena could produce a movie like that. That's all. Maximum respect for electronics. It's been my passion forever.

Keaton has gone to hell since he spoke! Sorry, fusillo.

Still with this story of "who is greater, Chaplin or Keaton?" enough already! Chaplin is a poet! He tells incredibly sad and extremely dramatic stories using a melancholic comedic vein that is at the same time tremendously entertaining; he is an immense director! Modern Times is a film from two weeks ago! Absolutely relevant! Keaton is a phenomenon of physicality; his works revolve around his stone face and his astonishing skills as a stuntman. There is no comparison when it comes to slapstick comedy (made of physical gags, acrobatic humor); in this sense, Keaton best represents silent cinema. But Chaplin is a DIRECTOR in capital letters! Of course, I don’t take anything away from masterpieces like The General by Keaton, but... Charlot is something else. They are both giants! A bit like Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, two cornerstones of martial arts history, who have always been compared but have two different styles. Keaton and Chaplin should be judged by different standards. No more comparisons about who is greater! They are the PHENOMENONS of silent film! Period. At least according to me, who absolutely loves slapstick to death.

Stop everyone! There has been an epochal misunderstanding! THE YOUNG PEOPLE! THE ALTERNATIVES! THE MODERNISTS! GOOD LORD! You've thrown me into this terrifying melting pot!!!!!! The lives of modern youths can go screw themselves! Here's how I feel about it! But the traditionalists have also gotten on my nerves! In cinema, there are cults that should immediately be excommunicated from their status! My review isn't a real review but a rant! Gone with the Wind may be technically well-edited but... it's a pain in the ass! It sucks! It's boring, the characters deserve to be beaten in a group, the soundtrack is the worst in the history of cinema, the screenplay is a ridiculous script! Put on Chaplin or Keaton! And also Citizen Kane! Modern youth, a couple of idiots! The cinema of the past was phenomenal but... there were some glaring turds turned into gilded gold! Gone with the Wind is CRAP! And deserves a review that’s CRAP! With comments that are CA-CA-RE! Pseudophilosophical comments from pseudo film experts, those annoying wannabes who are anti-de-baser but are always here CHIMING IN! Don't philosophize! We're in a free site where there's freedom of expression... come on... let yourself go... all say it with me "Gone with the Wind fuck off" come on... out loud! "Gone with the Wind is an American farce" come on now... I can't hear you! Come on! "Gone with the Wind is a CRAP prototype of a SHIT America" and sorry if I keep talking about CRAP but I read the previous comments and I'm freaking out! As Celentano would say "you are strong"!!!

The thing that gives me goosebumps is that.... It will never be beaten! First for the incredible success.. and now because of the internet and the decline in CD sales. 104 million copies! In 104 years it will be studied in music schools all over the world!!!!
Michael Jackson Thriller

Great Review! But I believe that Thriller was a "prototype" of Michael Jackson's solo style... and it had the luck/unluck of becoming the best seller in music history, luck because... at 25, Jackson managed to reach the levels of Elvis and the Beatles... and in terms of cultural phenomenon, even more... but unluck because... it was this very second solo album that was miraculously blessed! 50 million copies! (104 today!!!!!!) this means shooting oneself in the foot! No one can beat him, and he can't beat himself... it would have been impossible to surpass with subsequent albums! Therefore, Thriller should be regarded as both the glory and the trap of Jackson! Artistically, I prefer the later works! Especially that masterpiece of cutting-edge sounds that was Dangerous! It needs to be reassessed immediately!
