Nasum Grind Finale
Voto:
Truly the best grind group that has ever existed, this collection allows you to appreciate the evolution of their sound and demonstrates how the genre is much, much more diverse and rich than is commonly thought.
Wormrot Scion A/V Presents: Wormrot - NOISE

Well, there isn't much to understand: these guys know how to grind (the opening of Outburst of Annoyance teaches us).
The Who My Generation
Voto:
Was it really necessary to write the story of the band or to point out that the album was released in America in a slightly different version? I mean, we're talking about The Who... And then people wonder why one doesn’t read the review.
Thought Riot Sketches of Undying Will
Voto:
Until a couple of days ago, the entire a-f catalog was available for free download on Bandcamp, a lot of good stuff. I've always preferred Pipedown over Thought Riot, who screamed more, but they are both great bands that obviously not many people paid attention to (holy hell, it's already been 11 years since I first heard about them, it feels like yesterday).
Oh, and unrelated, but the new AFI album is also a nice little disc.
Dream Theater Dream Theater
Voto:
I will never listen to him, but the double five in these cases is a must!
Kylesa Ultraviolet
Voto:
I had heard this in streaming around the time it was released (or was about to be released, you know), so I'm certainly not the most qualified person to give a judgment, but I remember quite well that those two or three listens gave me the impression of an album that felt a bit lackluster rather than mature.
Marnero Il Sopravvissuto
Voto:
In front of a work like this, one can only bow down; truly, it's the album of the year. Naufragio Universale was also a great album, but here we are on the brink of perfection. That said, it's not an album for a crude review.
Alkaline Trio My Shame Is True
Voto:
Pleasant little disc
Bad Religion Into The Unknown
Voto:
Some tracks do have their own reason to exist (for example, I don't mind Billy Gnosis at all), but overall it's a rather boring album that, above all, sounds old, old, very old. Luckily, they realized it too that it wasn’t worth it. (By the way, the album was reissued, I believe in 2010, it was part of the box set with the complete discography on vinyl: for this album, that's more than enough, since anyone who wants it can easily find it without any effort.)
Children Of Bodom Are You Dead Yet?

yeeeeeeee!
