I listened to something, intrigued by the incredibly funny review, and I feel like quoting friends Alia and Ghemi. I would give it a 2, but damn, this thing has an average of 4.44... forgive me if for once I practice the (disgraceful) art of lowering.

@Brat: while remaining within the mainstream DD, Nathan Never and something else from Bonelli (like something from MM) have definitely reached high artistic levels: just from a graphic standpoint, it would be enough to scroll through the list of artists who have alternated.

I almost forgot: everything you need to know is expressed in post 50. It doesn’t seem that hard to understand, even though it's long and verbose ;-)

Hi Joe, of course I remember! (impressionist? me? ;-) among all the flaws that keep being pointed out to me on this Site, this one was missing! I can't have them all, damn it! :-D). Yes, a "my" review will come, but in about ten days or so: time to process everything. I'm also waiting for yours, which I'm sure will be up to par. The problem with lengthy albums, and here I refer to dear Alex's post, is that she produces herself, and this, as anyone who has followed the debates about Tori within DeB knows, is one of the reasons why her albums have sounded "imperfect" lately: she is unable to rein herself in, which makes her verbose; she should find someone to produce her like in the days of Erci Rosse, but I guess she will never do that again.

@Lux: Considering the latest, and since we both know what there is to know about all the issues, I won't respond, that's all: it’s not that I’m forced (who ever said that?). It’s just my choice: take it as you wish. Regards.

@Alia: ;-) @Camel: I understand what you mean, and while I agree that the second part of her career hasn't lived up to the first, I also wonder if, knowing her story, you would agree with me that after the "complex" life, both artistic and personal, she has had, is it reasonable to still expect the "acrobats" of the past decade. Honestly, I don’t even want any innovations from her anymore; I’m just looking for, in a certain sense, the tranquility and security of an album every two years (and a tour) that allows me to still savor her presence (the innovations, regardless of what some critics say, can now be counted on one hand and are often merely waved around as such rather than being genuine: anyway, it should be the "young ones" who bring them, yet they limit themselves to imitating the greats...). Of course, if she were to release a bad album, I would be the first to say so, but so far they have all been respectable ("Scarlet's Walk" and "ADP" much more than respectable), and I have often read exaggerated critiques (on Ondarock, for example, it is clear that whoever reviewed "ADP" hasn't even listened to it: try checking). Cheers.
