Since they enlarged the image in the profile tab, your avatar looks even more impressive. Cool! ;-)

They work! There's nothing more frustrating than a link that doesn't work ;-)

I expressed my opinion, and the neutral tone was meant to indicate that I wasn't addressing anyone in particular but the site in general; you have every right to think whatever you want about it. Let me be clear, it's not that I don't want to "debate" with you out of dislike or for any other reason, nor because our positions are irreconcilable (I've discussed even under worse conditions), but simply because, as you will agree, we are speaking two completely different languages (it's not my place to make qualitative judgments on that) and we'll end up not understanding each other anyway. Goodbye.

@Eletto: :-D I wanted to diversify (more, in some cases I succeeded) the links, but the most "accessible" ones remain the Wikipedia ones; there’s not much to be done. @Bartle: Hey, I wasn’t complaining ;-) it’s just that I thought it was a fun link (even if a bit off-topic, I admit). Isi’s link isn’t working, but maybe it’s just my unlucky PC :-)

I see that the link to Iside doesn't work, well, my friend will forgive me. Furthermore, the link in "Perche. I mean, why?" has been removed. I accept the editorial choice even though I don't know the reason.

@Eletto: It's a "Narrative" Essay but it's not "novelized"; the term "novel" (in quotation marks, indeed) refers to the fact that the author has managed to convey that aura of "emotion" which is rarely found in essays. @Lazy: there are, there are ;-) Thank you both!

[Neutral Post: I am addressing the Site in general and not any particular user]: I believe that no one here wants to absolve the political class of its responsibilities (many), but it was being reflected upon how often it is thought that this is a separate entity from the people when, in fact, it is an expression of it: we are all convinced that there are people (too many unfortunately) in Italy who have to live every day with "water up to their necks," and no one has claimed that these are the segments responsible for the decay; rather, the emphasis was placed on the fact that often, for one reason or another, they are caught up in populist promises. What confounds me, however, is that underlying implication (if it wasn't implied, I apologize in advance, it happens that my posts, as I see, have been misinterpreted by interlocutors) that the illegal actions of the political class can justify, as a "response" and "self-defense," the illegal actions of the people: well, for me, this is inconceivable (and I want to emphasize that "for me"). Illegal actions should never be a response, and this nation, which is now entrenched in them in every sphere, is proof of that, if only for the fact that they always trigger the usual "war among the poor," which always ends up favoring the wealthier classes. Then there would be other concerns, such as the fact that many protests are never accompanied by serious proposals to resolve the situation (proposals that perhaps do not involve the use of violence, since in this case, it is quite proven that, apart from being harmful, it is also useless) when I am convinced that to make this country more livable, three things would suffice: A) Proper Civic Education in schools B) That everyone pays their taxes C) Respect for the concept of legality by everyone. It may be trivial and obvious (as I will be, and you can add whatever you want), but I believe that with these three cornerstones (not in the very short term, of course), this nation, which is rich in human resources, could easily reach levels of "culture" that would prevent the rise to power of any Silvio (present or future). If you have others, I would be happy to read them.

@Supersoul: if she infers from my speech that I would be settling for the current situation of our nation (for example, I quote a sentence from my post 22 which seems to assert the contrary: "Then in real life, in my small way, with my limits and defects, and in my own way, which fortunately is shared by many (we would all be rhetorical and mistaken, what can I tell you...), I strive to improve things from the bottom up; my trust is that everyone else, including my interlocutors, do the same (and it is serious trust, I'm not being ironic)"), I believe, without fearing to hurt her, that she has made a significant mistake both specifically and generally. Best regards. @Tele: I wouldn’t give this trust to the Italian; philosophy doesn’t have much to do with it... "hunger" does... ;-)
