I now see Kosmo's question: it hasn't garnered more attention because clearly the topic wasn't of interest (I also mentioned that there were factors making me reconsider my presence on the site). Comics, for example, have had a bit more engagement (regardless of what Punisher says, the pioneer in this field on the site is me :-D) at least while I was reading the site every day; now I miss out on many things (the majority), just like if Kyra stopped, I don't know how many reviews of that kind would still come in. Maybe it's time for DeBaser to adopt the theory of degrowth ;-) and to return to settings from a few years ago. If you want a piece of advice, that is; if not, it's no big deal... :-D

I don't know (about both questions). Regarding the first one, I can tell you that just as all those things you mention happen, I think there might also be someone on DeBaser who looks for some logic in the numbers: after all, who knows...

Ok, Kosmo, I didn't know about this particularity of yours: I apologize for that. Honestly, I can't address the other issues because I just took a quick look and nothing new seems to emerge, so it's pointless to stay here (otherwise, I'll be called a "loopofilo" too ;-D).
Quickly, the review was a jest, the statistics are not, nor is the vibe I've felt from many private messages. I want to reiterate that if the site works for you as it is, I have absolutely no problem; my comments were just those of someone who cared about the site. That's all, it's up to you what to do with it (surely I would have appreciated more courtesy from some, but that's fine). Only time will tell. One last thing: I never said I don't like you, but that I probably am not suited to be here. Bye.

I almost forgot: regarding your sentence "look, if the rece had caused annoyance (but why then?) it wouldn't have been published." at this point I seriously think that the parodic intent wasn't really understood even by those editing it (and judging by many comments, also by the rest of the staff). I must have written it poorly, for which I apologize.

Response to comment 150: no, I'm sorry, you may not share them, but having tried the infodatezza, that you can't deny. But hey, it’s the game of "everything is fine." Bye.

Actually, in this review I haven't really said "this is the last post, now I'm leaving" (we're discussing, for Diana :-D), even though I've done it in the past and it wasn't a dealbreaker because I would promptly contradict myself (it's one of the things I love to do, clearly we don't know each other well), but quite the opposite (expressed in post 134 if I'm not mistaken). Anyway, aside from these details, I could also say "but if you’re wrong, why do you keep responding to me?" (which forces me to repeat myself, by the way). Let's just let it go in a debaserian way, right? ;-) Anyway, if you weren't being spiteful, I apologize (around here the possibility of being wrong is taken into consideration), it seemed to me that I had caught a hint of it. But I want to ask a serious question for you: seriously, isn’t it a problem to have lost 44% of reviews compared to 2006? (serious question, I would appreciate a serious answer if possible)

PPS: I even said that the arguments were provided to me (let's remember that I asked for them, while you had remained silent) but that those same arguments, from my perspective, contradict the decision to publish football reviews: and this made me smile, so I decided to joke about it, no hard feelings, I was just explaining the reasons that led me to write it. No one is asking you to agree with them.

Bartle: Well, I had already mentioned the statistics over a year ago, as you say, bringing in my "reading" and suggesting solutions, but in return, I received jeers... I posted them here because the discussion was about the site. Does it bother you so much that people know there are fewer reviews? I find it a motivating factor for hard work: surely when we talked about it some time ago, that was the intent. What I don't understand is that despite me continuously specifying that it was a small jest, you're turning it into a matter of state over an idea that is mine and mine alone, and I hope, as I mentioned above, mistaken. From my point of view, the discussion ended there: I even said that you, from your perspective as a staff member, have your reasons and I understand them. But if I allow myself a little "teasing," couldn't you just laugh it off? In my opinion, you publish sports reviews because you have a "hunger" for reviews (and something makes me think that before this controversy, if I had resubmitted that comic review, you would have published it regardless). Am I wrong? If so, no worries, and I'd be happy. If not, in a few months, we'll talk about it, or rather, you'll talk about it. Ps. cpt-ivy? @Gabriella: what can I say? I've never been a "good" poet. @Josi: I don't understand this enmity towards me: I don't recall any previous storms between us, am I wrong?

Hell, looking at all 140 comments, one would need to summarize the last 2 years of DeB's life. Too much even for an obsessed person like me ;-)

Anyway, if I had known that joking about the fact that you started allowing reviews of football matches bothered you so much, I wouldn't have done it: you could have just not published it...
