I agree that it's a fundamental album, but I'm a bit less convinced that it represents metal as a whole.
Vasco Rossi Buoni o cattivi

I consider Vasco Rossi one of the best Italian artists precisely because his early works date back long before 2006...

Sure, we'll pick it up another time. Anyway, I'm also referring to the last two albums that I really like a lot, maybe even more than Brave New World, which I still adore, because they manage to move me even with very retro sounds.
Good night!

One should have a clear definition of Rock, and this also depends a lot on personal tastes. For example (and tomorrow, when there are more people in the forum, I’ll probably receive a lot of insults...), I really like the latest Tool and also the latest Maiden. This is what I mean by rock. I’m wary of bands that present themselves as an absolute novelty to revolutionize music, and after a couple of albums, they are already in heavy rotation on major radio and TV presenting trivial songs. I prefer certain dinosaurs, who might not be the pinnacle of innovation, but what they play, they play with warmth and intensity.

You know what, I'm a bit tired, maybe even of all the bam bam that surrounds them, as if they were the saviors of Hard music. When someone presents themselves like that, their album has to be at least exciting, and here I actually feel great technique but little intensity, a homework assignment done to get the highest grade with the least effort, and given the premises, the final judgment suffers.

I'll tell you I listen to Napalm, I really appreciate bands like Nuclear Assault, S.O.D., and D.R.I., but extreme metal isn't really my natural habitat; in the metal genre, I prefer more classic bands like Maiden, Megadeth, Slayer, etc. Speaking of Cornell, I adored Soundgarden; maybe that's why I'm not too fond of Audioslave.

Oh hi, weren't you going to listen to the legendary... since I don't know if you're still messing with me or not, I'd like to know if we can talk about music now.
