No, I'm not a fan of theirs, but beggars can't be choosers...

I start from the fact that I like the album. I add that I am not a fan of Metallica. I can agree with Mick7 that certain comparisons should not be made (a bit less on the fact that this is a completely Metal album; in my opinion, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t, and that’s the strength of this product—the diversity it offers with each track). That said, the review is a bit too naive in defending the purity of a genre or not; it’s not about musical genres but about whether they’re good albums or not, and this one definitely falls into the former category (in my opinion). Best regards!

Agreed on all fronts, their most beautiful album (yes, even more than Mellon Collie.. just to get ahead of you..)

Hello 47, I'm sending you back to the review of "A matter" by Trooper, where I explain my position. As for Tool, are you referring to "Aenima" (the album) or "Aenema" the song?

I didn't say that you took your considerations word for word from somewhere else, but that they reminded me of things I've heard many times due to my age, and I assure you there are plenty... If you felt attacked, I apologize; that wasn't my intention. I'm open to any criticism and clarification. Bye!

You are completely free to criticize their production after '82, for example for personal reasons (especially related to age!). My favorite albums are from '83 to '88, and I also appreciate those after '99 (especially in their live performances), and I almost hate everything they did in the '90s (as you can see, I'm not obsessive). Feel free to check my posts left here and there. Regarding what you say about iconography, I have nothing to add because it really depends on personal taste and is outside the realm of music.

As far as music is concerned, I don't think the bands you mention were playing the Maiden genre before '80 (anyone from across the Channel and partly across the ocean who was there in those years will tell you that "Iron Maiden" was a revolution in the genre, and I believe it went even further).

Unfortunately, I won't be brief; I apologize in advance to all users... the criticisms were not aimed directly at you, but at a certain mindset. You Iron fans are absolutely free to criticize them, but it’s a bit less acceptable to tell the fans "enough, you've broken our balls." Honestly, it happens to me many times to leave posts about genres I know but do not like, yet I never say "enough with reggae, you've broken..." because it's disrespectful. The problem lies here: you can criticize, but you shouldn't request the silence of someone else (LONG LIVE DEMOCRACY!). Of course, if I criticize someone, I am also ready to receive the backlash from the various fans (it happens often, I assure you!).

AH and you see that you have preconceptions about me, just because I also post in metal groups doesn't mean I'm a metalhead (never thought I was), I invite you to check out other music genres as well..you'll see, anyway I definitely won’t refuse the Burzum poster...on the vision of rap outside of the world, it could be...I don’t like conformism, bye and as you say..ah yes RESPECT!

By the way, I don't see boasting about being ignorant in something as something to brag about. In my opinion, everything should be listened to and shared, because you really risk missing out on things that you might actually enjoy. Try to be less dogmatic... you'll see, the world is full of surprises.
