Tori Amos A Piano: The Collection

Hi! Just so you know, I didn't take it personally; in fact, I always welcome constructive criticism. Regarding self-referentiality, perhaps we have two different ways of understanding the word, while I would like to assert the absolute personal interpretation I gave to the box set, trying to contextualize everything. As for the construction of sentences, rereading it, I feel that my thoughts and emotions come across, and that is enough for me. I tried to convey my passion as best as I could... if you didn't like it, I'm sorry; after all, perfection doesn't belong to this world. Take care!

Ps. a new album is expected for next Spring (Flood had asked about it, if I'm not mistaken)

I wanted to tell dear Ecanoid not to worry about my reaction to the vote, because I care much more about the comments, and I actually thank him for the constructive criticism (you’re probably right about the review being too personal, but with Tori I wanted to express a bit more of my own thoughts…) instead, I would like to ask good ilpanes to better specify what he means by self-referential and inattentive, so that I can avoid making the same potential mistakes next time. Thank you again to everyone. Bye!

I also wanted to clarify a few things regarding my thoughts. The first is that this is not a strictly Christmas box set because the product was released in September. The second is about "Professional Widow"; I may have been a bit too harsh (when it came out in clubs, I was the first to dance to it), but the fact that it feels somewhat disconnected in this context and that it had already been included in a previous compilation led me to emphasize my point. As for the last two albums, what can I say? I didn't say they are disappointing, but that they are weaker compared to the rest of his production. It's just my opinion, not a universal truth (a sentiment that is, however, largely shared by most EWF fans).

I thank the Editors for giving me the privilege of appearing among the reviews they selected. Of course, I warmly thank and greet all the Debaseriani who took the time to leave a comment (I hope it was actually a nice weekend for Amalteo afterward..)

The review isn't bad, actually, but I'm giving you one point less because you were a bit too harsh with this album.
