Alright, I made a mistake by a year, but the essence of the discussion about their validity doesn't change. Anyway, I wasn't talking about the solo activities of the various Gibbons, Utley, Barrow but about the group... Happy New Year!

For dear Bjork: of course not, but I won't review it either.. Happy New Year to everyone!

I say what I want, dear Carlino, and I don't have the characteristic of being either offensive or irritating like you... think about it! May the new year be favorable for you. P.S. Of course, you are acting in bad faith... reflect on this as well if you can't grasp it...

I understand, dear Carlino, you like to provoke strong reactions; there’s no other explanation as this is yet another decidedly malicious review you’ve written. Please tell me you're just pulling my leg, and I’ll feel at ease... As for dear Bjork, for me, all albums should be listened to if one wants to review them, including Carrisi and Pausini (but I hope your comment was ironic:)). Anyway, for me, Coverdale is a fantastic singer, but his output as a songwriter has never excited me.

A group without ideas that copies here and there, the review is not bad but it is too biased.

The same goes for the Morcheeba-Portishead discussion, only here it’s not about genres but about class: the former are good craftsmen, the latter a truly great band... and then on what basis do you present these ideas? The last work of Portishead is from '99 and they haven’t done anything since, not due to sales but because of issues within the band. Morcheeba, after a promising start to their career, have slipped into a sickly pop and a truly agonizing end of career marked by a poverty of ideas. Bye!

P.S.:
Gnarls Barkley (whom I do appreciate) actually have very little to do with Outkast... different genres, although still within the black music scene.

One of the few Hip-hop groups I appreciate, but this album does not live up to their standard. A review that's easy to agree with.

P.S.: "Hey Bot, Hey Girl" is, in my opinion, already part of the decline phase, although there are some nice tracks in "Surrender".

Hello Killgod! I assure you that the first two albums of these gentlemen have nothing in common with this, and the unz unz you're talking about is part of the (bad) second half of their career. Because in "Exit Planet Dust" and "Dig Your Own Hole" you'll find a melting pot of styles that is done excellently and absolutely unconventionally (much more so, for example, in my opinion, than the bands you mention). You have to try to believe it!
