Korn Mtv Unplugged

Dear Cool, I am not a longtime fan of Korn and I truly only appreciate the first album. What I mean is that for someone like me, for example, to whom certain sounds have never really meant much, rediscovering certain songs in a different key can be quite enjoyable. Moreover, I think this album normally aligns with the path the Korn have been on for years, which is the MTV approach (and I'm not saying this to criticize, it's just an observation). All in all, unlike bands that have made the same "marketing" choice (bear with me here), like Metallica and to a lesser extent System of a Down, this live album is, in the end, quite courageous, not uniform, and well-played. Honestly, if I were a fan, I wouldn’t be scandalized too much. I repeat, it’s an evolution that feels natural considering their past artistic choices, and they could have done worse. Instead, I think they’ve landed on their feet. Cheers!

A beautiful film that Hoffman elevates.

Punk has never died simply because it was never born. A very beautiful record and a great review too.

Oh dear, it really depends on personal taste. Personally, I've never been a big fan of certain excesses; here I find that besides that psychotic component you mentioned, there is also something else (the melody, for example), and this makes me reconsider pieces that I never thought much of, that's all.

Review too biased, therefore not evaluable; the album is definitely beautiful, but from here to say that it is the most beautiful album in rock...

I agree with Ocean regarding the career of Korn, but I have to say that many songs from the subsequent albums presented like this give something more (especially "Freak on the Leash," for example), and I really liked the duets with Amy Lee and Robert Smith, and all things considered, even certain arrangements on the drums; good review.

If you like, you can all come to Vicenza to see me, it would be a nice boost of life (for me, of course) and the city is quite pleasant after all ;-)
