Dear Chandler, I would respond regarding Miike's cinematography (which I know thoroughly, by the way) but I've decided not to engage with the content more with "self-assured" people. Do we happen to know each other that you "assume" all of this about me? It doesn't seem so to me, so I invite you, before shooting down people who express their opinions peacefully, to take the "great DeBaserian game" with a bit more calmness; we're talking about films and not civil rights (where, by the way, I also prefer moderation, but that's just me, I don't know about you and I'm not so presumptuous as to imagine you). It only plays on the horrific; for everything else, it shows a monstrous lack of ideas that has become a constant in "scary" movies of the last decade. Now I’ll put on "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and watch a true horror.
