I saw Darkman and I wasn't impressed, maybe if I watch it again I could change my mind, but despite the risk of attracting criticism, I insist on saying that the first "Spider-Man," while being mainstream, is not bad at all and you can still see some of the old Raimi in it. Then from the second one onward, it definitely veered towards mainstream tastes. (Go New Zealand! I know it doesn't relate, but I wanted to include it.)
