Honestly, it has never said much to me.. A bit of an overly concise review.

I take responsibility for responding to dear Marktwin. Personally, the DT haven't done anything to me, and in fact, I quite like them (even though I find that in their discography there are only two albums of the highest level, namely "Images and Words" and "Train of Thought"). My problem (and I think it's quite common) is the relationship with their fans, who are generally presumptuous and annoyingly offensive towards any band (and consequently their supporters) that is not DT or at least one that produces virtuosic ProgMetal, which is often terribly aseptic. Therefore, the attitude you see against DT is nothing but a reaction to what their fans have sown all these years. Bye!

The commercial consecration of REM came with "Out of Time," but it seems exaggerated to talk about commerciality here. On the contrary, this album marks a return to a certain type of sound from their past. The only accurate point Scaruffo makes is to highlight their obsession with melancholic pop ballads, and here they certainly revisit that, although not at the level of some of their other works; nonetheless, the result is by no means to be discarded.

honestly ugly album, Gilmour was and is a great session musician but as for creativity, it really leaves you puzzled.

They ran out of ideas already by the second album, but I don't think it's a technical issue.
