P.S.: Not to defend Poletti, but seeing that a couple of individuals in this discussion, who usually criticize his way of presenting ideas, fall into the same clichés should lead to some self-reflection from everyone. And then you’ve tired me out: Puni calls anyone who disagrees with him an idiot, that other one (El Guevo) talks about nonsense and foolishness (and this isn’t the first time), another one (galakordi) quotes him. This is not the way to conduct a discussion; admit the fact that discussing and sharing doesn’t concern you, but you only care about showing how cultured and intelligent you are (and how in love you are with your ego). You criticize those who rate this film with a 1, labeling them as mere provocateurs, and you don’t realize that you are provocateurs yourselves. It would be best to send all of you to that place, but I won’t do it out of courtesy... Good night.

I quote kataklisma: El guevo expresses his ideas with the usual elegance, making his moral depth clear. Therefore, considering that reason belongs to fools, I'll gladly leave it to them. I feel sorry for Galakordi, who is usually much more affable, but evidently, the proximity to Guevo is detrimental even virtually... Haloa!

Pippo, I preferred the photo you had before on the profile (the one with the Margot/Fujiko shirt).

In full decline, a review that I like even though I don't share the opinions.

Of course, he knows how to hit certain chords, and that's why I find him a bit cunning. At Trier (and this is my opinion), he likes to play with easy emotions, seasoning them with technical tricks that are indeed in his DNA. But if you dig deeper, the message is so poor that it could be found in any South American soap opera (this is just my personal opinion). Ciao Bello ;-)

P.S.: my observation is entirely non-technical, I'm talking about sensations; when it comes to technique, Trier has some skills (not many, though...)

Puni, I'm not calling you a perfect idiot just because I don't share your tastes (and that happens often); I’ve never liked this movie and I find that Trier (S4's observation is spot on) makes clever films for people who want to be touched on certain delicate points. A critic (I don't remember who) years ago, speaking about this attitude (general, not specifically about Trier), referred to it as "Pornography of feelings." I usually look at certain criticism with suspicion, but for this film, the definition is spot on. Bye!
