In any case, the Area, P.F.M., Battiato, De André, and all the other sacred monsters you maltreat deserve to be treated with a bit more respect, that’s all. And if you don’t do it, you shouldn’t be surprised when 5,000 people come to offend you. @Dave dear, keep the discussion on gentlemanly tones (which you are) and don’t fall into the trap of provocation...

well, exactly, the alchemies you mention personally make me think of this film as an immense piece of crap... By the way, I'm probably going to become a case study anyway because I realized I’ve written a review using the term "otoscope" instead of "rotoscope"... let's hope to get there in time before 8000 people point it out to me...

But how do you do it virtually, or maybe you're at someone's house... because in the second hypothesis, I'm not sure if I feel much like participating ;-) Anyway, I've seen that it takes much less... like writing a review on the latest Dream Theater (already 4 and it hasn't even been released yet... and they've reviewed the single too...) but honestly, I find it to be a trivial method...

And anyway, for me the film remains bad and pretentiously smart.

El Guevo, you comment on yourself and you can't really break away from the classic patterns of someone who is terribly egocentric. I repeat, I've concluded my dealings with you. P.S.: By the way, regarding Miike, I've finished the IMDb list... and I confirm he has done better, and in that film (Imprint) he only plays on the horror aspect and lacks some ideas (always in my opinion, and now please insist on the fact that one must be objective and coincidentally you're the only one who is, and I'll know it's nonsense...). Adieu (and seriously now because you have exhausted me)! @Puni, dear, if you criticized someone using all those terms just because they dared to give a film a 1, then the problem wouldn't be mine but your (by the way, pronounced) intelligence. So let's do this: since I have a real life and not much time, I'll make you happy: I AM A PROVOCATOR! But at least in private, apologize to me for calling me an idiot for trivial reasons... happy? You won... Bye, Gorgeous!

Dear Galakordi, I could also tell you that your analysis, while very learned, is from my point of view completely wrong because, as I see it, Trier is intellectually dishonest and masks his narrative shortcomings with the very technical tricks you mention. That said, this discussion has certainly not bogged down due to Poletti (I usually don't do this, but this time I have to defend him; ask him how rarely it happens...) but rather due to a couple of people who have taken disrespectful (if not offensive) positions toward both him and me, considering that for once, Marco and I were in agreement... and you, one in particular, have quoted among others.
I don’t want to make this a matter of state and this is my last post (because I don't want to play too much into Puni's game, who is pretending to be clueless just to increase comments on his review: I repeat, Puni, my provocation isn't even one; put your heart at ease, and I do appreciate your partial retreat), but I reiterate that this is not the way to engage in a discussion. You can appreciate this film as much as you want, but calling someone an idiot for not doing so (on well-founded issues, by the way, such as the judgement on the plot and technical elements) is at the very least rude. No hard feelings, I'll remove myself from the situation; now acclaim it in peace as much as you want... Bye!
