"If contemporary Rock is what has gripped us (alas) in the last decade - a terrifying crisis of inspiration, young bands falsely alternative and major compromises with the market." It's a pity that almost all the influences mentioned place Mr. Reed at the top. It must mean something, right? And it's really History that says it...

I round it up to 4 even though it's not my favorite. Great review, although in my opinion you didn't fully capture the mood of this album.

I might just be unlucky, but this gentleman on both occasions (one at 40,000 lire, I believe, the other was a gift so I have no idea of the price) that I had the chance to see live gave rather disappointing performances (in addition to showing his usual snobbish disdain towards the audience, which by now is a trademark among fans, especially the older ones), so for me, he remains a "mysterious object." Maybe I'm biased because "culturally" I can consider him an "enemy," but playing well or poorly, just like being available or not, remains an objective matter (even if one could debate for hours about "ugliness" as a form of art and its emancipation, and here I hope to quell various comments from the usual memes) or at least I hope it is.

A 3 can be given out of affection, but "300" and especially "Watchmen" are light-years away. The review is well-written, but I don't find it very agreeable (and it's already clear from the phrase "I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this film: knowing the director and having already seen his previous '300' and 'Watchmen,' I started out a bit biased" that the reviewer and I probably have opposite tastes), even on fairly objective points like the plot, which I think is rather disjointed. It's definitely a Snyder film, so the visual experience is always enjoyable, much to the delight of many pseudo-expert memes, but this time it’s not enough.

@Gate: thank you for the kind words: about modesty, I agree with Agroppi that "modesty is the preamble to hypocrisy," so I'm convinced I'm a pretty cool guy ;-) @Iside: it's because we are in tune with each other, my old friend: regarding the review of Ungaretti, you're right; in fact, I haven't reviewed it. I thank all the attendees.

A little film that doesn't know which side it's on, moreover based on a book by the forger Krakauer...

P.S. This is the "cover" I had chosen for the review Ingrandisci questa immagine (but it was changed...)

Of course, there are uglinesses (like childhood malnutrition in the Third World), but if you think about it, now there are people trying to fight them: in the past, often not. This alone should be a sign that leads to an increase in solidarity... in my modest opinion.
