Quentin Tarantino Grindhouse: Death Proof - A Prova di Morte

@albi:sure it will change, but it only changes the citation sources "and not even that much" for the rest it always relies on the same narrative schemes, until "Jackie Brown" I could understand it now it should change, all the technical tricks that Mista mentions are not enough to improve the situation, he is definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel. Bye.

He could cite and not copy; he chose the second path (doing it poorly, among other things), and for the rest, only gratuitous violence.
Quentin Tarantino Grindhouse: Death Proof - A Prova di Morte

Slightly more than a citationist, I give it a passing grade because I care for Tarantino, but by now he should have the courage to change something, otherwise the suspicion that he is just a copycat might arise.

So, not to be a pain, but we’re talking about a commercial explosion here. I know that when "Surrender" first came out, very few people knew them, but it’s precisely with this album that they caught the attention of the mass audience (that’s undeniable). The fact that most people didn’t know their name is something that still happens with other phenomena. Since I’m one of those who bought "exit planet dust" "live" (and I’m not saying this to brag; in fact, it’s a curse since it means I’m old... SIGH!), I’m more attached to that sound (which they kept until "Dig Your Own Hole"), while I think they already start to ā€œslack offā€ in "Surrender," making it much more easy-listening. That’s all. Bye!
