@Riccardo, follow yourself more and Scaruffi less, that’s the only advice I can give you.

Fashion has nothing to do with this, and it wasn't a teenage issue; this is an important album, whether you like it or not. Of course, it can be liked or not, but the arguments you present, besides being weak, show that your knowledge in this field is truly minimal, if not nonexistent, and your last post confirms this hypothesis. Moreover, it seems no one has said that Prodigy, Underworld, Chemical Brothers, or Leftfield have nothing in common; of course, they do—all come from the electronic music scene of the early '90s, heavily influenced by more "traditional" styles (like rock or punk, for example). But the similarities end here; I repeat, comparing them is a stretch. If you prefer one over the other, that's a different matter, and you have every right to do so, but don’t make assertions that you aren't able to support.

Hi Opaltide! Well, that comes down to personal tastes... for example in Milan she performed "Siren," "Honey," and "Spring Haze," which I personally adore, but that's the beauty of Tori, each concert has a completely different setlist, so anything could happen. In previous shows I've seen, the songs performed weren't exactly my favorites, but I always appreciated her presence on stage (like a true Diva... and God knows how few of them there are nowadays...), her wit and elegance, and of course her technical skills.
As for my page, be careful because on DeB for some reason when you copy and paste a link, the server always adds a space in the text and this prevents the page from opening. Try to keep this in mind. Bye!

Between the '80s and '90s, I much prefer the latter, but perhaps it's because I experienced them as a teenager rather than as a child. Regarding the rest, I completely agree with Psycho's argument, but one thing: if I had to choose between the '80s and these (the '00s?), I would choose the former because their emptiness was undoubtedly deeper than the current one, which is based solely on useless revisionism.

What you describe at the end is a constant habit at Tori's concerts; I was there (and it was the eighth time I saw her), and the concert thrilled me. The only flaws were purely "sound" related (and not even that obvious), so I would have given an extra star anyway. Overall, the review is good.
P.S: Despite everything and everyone, I find that "American Doll Posse" is a really great album (even objectively speaking, not just as a fan).

Before "The Fat of the Land," (almost) before everything in the electronics of their generation, the period was brief but, for better or worse, the record will remain immortal. The comparison with Underworld is forced; the two bands are too different in the greatness of their beginnings.
