Actually, the first one to use disrespectful tones was you; we responded in kind, so if anything, it’s you who’s being sensitive. Moreover, I repeat, it’s not a matter of personal taste (I’m the first to find the Underworld superior), but of historical significance. I don’t know about you, but I was there during those years and "Music For" was an experience that felt endless from every point of view. It proposed an electronic sound finally free from certain parameters (those of Depeche Mode first and foremost) and had a subversive energy that they later lost in favor of the stylistic elements you're disputing. But that came later; at this moment, they remain unique and irreplaceable. Aloha!

It's always the same with the Maiden: if they play the classics, they're just serving the same old soup; if they do too many new things, then "What a shame, they didn't play the classics..." In this session, they proposed a nice mix, with 5 new songs and the rest all from '92 onwards (or whatever you want to call it...). You're just a bunch of chicks (and I say this with extreme affection because I care about you...).

It's a valid album; out of 23 songs, there are at least 12-13 great tracks (including 2-3 real masterpieces), and the rest is still of good quality. Sure, it’s not the Tori of the '90s, but the compositional level is definitely good. I'm the first to say that "The Beekeeper" isn't a great album (but as I’ve already mentioned, if it had been written by one of the polished singer-songwriters who are trendy now, people would have hailed it as a masterpiece), and as a huge fan, I’m also my own biggest critic, but this is on a whole different level.
