Very good, unfortunately I have never seen her live, the vote is based on trust, a very nice review.

In my view, the best of Palahniuk remains "Survivor."

Don’t touch me "Gone with the Wind"... it’s in my 50s... anyway, enough shooting at Marco Poletti, he’s not as bad as he seems...

Honestly, I don't find populism in this film, just poetry. Of course, there are political references, and we could discuss those until the end of time, but as a work of art, it remains an incredible masterpiece. The comparison you make with the DT is amusing (in a positive and fun way, obviously), but be careful—those are rarely "spectacular" and most of the time simply hyper-technical, marked by a self-satisfaction that I don't honestly see here. Moreover, the criticisms of the review weren't aimed at opinions on tastes (everyone is entitled to their opinion) but rather at the political implications. It's known that Bertolucci is leftist, but to reduce this film to just a party manifesto is quite a stretch. Cheers!

You are right, Ajeje. I didn't want to bring up motivations because mine are purely artistic while the reviewer's are political, and in my opinion, the film shouldn't be viewed through that lens. Therefore, I limited myself to expressing my disagreement. However, since you asked: for me, this film deserves a 5 because: it tells an epic story in a decidedly unconventional way that, whether we like it or not, has affected all of us at least in its consequences. B) It is visually the most engaging thing ever created (I was lucky enough to see it in the cinema, and guys, it’s something incredible, especially the first part…) C) The pace, slow for many, is seductive for me. Bertolucci does not merely report events but sets a nearly biblical atmosphere that makes it all enchanting. D) No epithet could be more fitting than "fresco" when referring to this film.
