Honestly, I see no reason to be scandalized by the comparisons made by the reviewer; they are indeed debatable, but the reasons behind them are interesting. Moreover, that's the beauty of presenting new perspectives and angles that might have been underestimated.

I don't know, but in my opinion, compared to "28 Days Later," there's a regression even in terms of visual experience; it has conformed a bit to Hollywood clichés, like Bay, if you will (but without Bay's bombast, for goodness' sake...).
