But is it really so difficult to simply accept that this "documentary" is a contrived nonsense? No, it's easier to think of an additional conspiracy, that Odifreddi was fooled... come on. The claims in this video have already been debunked in multiple venues. The book I suggested is simply the one written in a more straightforward way; you can decide for yourselves, the rest is just urban legends, au revoir.

All good Syl (anyway, I've also checked out some of your other reviews lately) you? Everything okay? (WESTHAM for heaven's sake...not Aston Villa...)

mmm, but are you sure that if people were forced to search for records the outcome would be better? And even if it were, should we then say the same about TV (which is fine as long as the quality is at the Italian level; in other countries, they’re definitely better off) newspapers, and all media (including the Internet, and therefore this site too... of course Scaruffi would also disappear... that would be a human face sacrifice ;-)). Then the point is always that you view Linus and Albertino (or worse "Lo Zoo") as if they were the entirety of Radio; I get it that Radio Deejay sucks (it sucks for me too), but balancing that are others that offer worthwhile content (from the more cultured Radio Tre to informative ones like 24 or political ones like Radicale, which I remember was the only one providing coverage of what happened in Parliament until a few years ago, long before the various TV in-depth reports and books on Caste and Castarelle...). Radio Due, for example, still has some really good music programs (even though it will never reach the levels of "Suoni & Ultrasuoni" again). Then there’s a series of local realities that are now fixed appointments in my day; they provide company, in short. And in Italy, we’re not in the best situation (God, how much I love being in Germany, those wonderful German broadcasters!). So, in my opinion, you shouldn't be (according to you ;-)) so harsh!

Dude, I don’t dispute opinions, but if you come at me with phrases like "But radio has to die, it's a useless object," you’ll understand that it’s no longer an opinion, right? Don’t you think? ;-)

I remember a pop-intimist-hardcore band from Castelgomberto (il Terzo Incomodo) that in the '90s had a song called "Mestruo" which went more or less "I haven't had it for 50 years!" repeating it at least 80 times for the entire 40 seconds of its duration...

Well, I can't help but think of that Leeds Utd-Bayern in Paris (Champions Cup final, let's call it by its name) where a valid goal for the English was canceled and at least two penalties in their favor were not awarded by the referee. A match dominated by the white and yellows but practically decided by the man in black (back then referees still dressed elegantly)... I believe that the '99 final was in a way a purifying baptism for that horrible evening. What a great team that Leeds was, but unfortunately, they couldn't capitalize on it in Europe anymore because they were banned for three years since after the defeat (0-2) in Paris, their fans didn't take it too well and vented their frustration on the seats of the Parc des Princes...
Anyway, changing the subject, Tevez is unquestionable (and I know a thing or two about it, damn... why did you leave, Carlito?)
I hope you reach 300 soon...

Speak for yourself Super, I'm here to impose my beliefs... ;-)
Anyway, just like dear Sylvian, this little disc has left me puzzled too.

Last note: claiming that conspiracy theories like those presented in this "documentary" are nonsense doesn't mean denying, as you tend to imply by oversimplifying, that the Bush administration is free of responsibility and didn't exploit the events for its own gain. We all know very well that these things happened, but from there to think that Bush decided to organize the attack (or was aware of it) there's an ocean in between. Here we are talking about scientific evidence versus sensationalism (and Mazzucco has quite a curriculum against him in this regard) of low quality.
