It wasn't really a controversy on my part ;-) I was simply pointing out that in this world, we shouldn’t be surprised by anything anymore, and that even legends are human (so much so that if you recall, I didn't just talk about Iggy...). As for the idea that "certain characters can be forgiven anything," the discussion remains the same (if you remember, we talked about it regarding Rollins in different terms), meaning it depends on the perspective from which you look at it. Specifically, Iggy (despite having seen him perform in Villaverla, if I’m not mistaken... or was it Caldogno? Who knows, the people from Vicenza can help me out; it was in ’87) has never really made me feel anything (and that includes the entire genre), so I’m not here to judge his choice to participate in advertising, but I assert that indeed "we shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore," and thus, we should "forgive" all the others too, regardless of personal tastes. Instead, people are too inclined to judge others’ splinters while looking too little at our own house. It’s obvious that by "everyone else," I don’t mean those who live in the world of advertising, like the pop phenomena (lowercase not accidental) from MTV, but we need to evaluate each case individually.

Good movie, not that masterpiece people are talking about though. Boyle (aside from "Trainspotting") is overrated.

I find him to be the weakest among his works (and I must say I still like this controversial character-writer a lot). Sure, there’s his creative flair, but he lacks that "rotten" something that I usually appreciate very much. The review is functional (even though I don’t agree with the rating) albeit minimal. Of course, there wasn’t much more to say...

As usual, I hadn’t seen your review on HP (unfortunately, I tend to focus more on the names of the artists than on the authors of the reviews). Anyway, there’s a Juke Box up there, don’t worry. At least in the Paradise we’re going to. Even if they might think there’s something tender between us, I’ll give you a nice 5, even though I see someone has already messed with your average, so I could get a bit carried away ;-)
I know the song, but I had never delved into the lyrics and its origin. Thanks for the (great) explanation.

I was about to write this to Bartle: "Bartle, maybe it’s because at a certain point you were few left editing? And since the conversation would lead to sad topics, I’ll close here too." which, read without knowing me, might seem in poor taste. Then I stopped because I told myself, "Be careful, they might misinterpret it." But since I aim to be coherent and sincere on these pages, I ultimately decided to write it anyway. Of course, read it from a strictly numerical point of view, not the triggering reasons. The point is that from the first post I left on this page, I’ve been misinterpreted, or maybe I expressed myself poorly. To clarify, I simply wanted to say that a certain type of "laughable" comment aimed only at "muddying the page" bothers me, and obviously the 1 left regardless: and this stemmed from the fact that curiously this page remained untouched even though it had multiple duplicates. Of course, I asked myself some questions and gave myself some answers (in true Marzullo style), but I don’t think I’m the only "sinner" in here. If anyone felt offended by my conclusions, I truly apologize.

Then excuse me: did I mention your name? I quote the phrase: "Anyway, the curious thing is that although this is a (multi)duplicate, I don't see even one 1 nor (correct me if I'm wrong) a comment like 'a review as useful as a Jerusalem artichoke stuffed in your ass,' apart from the one from GW/Fidia at number 1, which is much more lenient than usual (is he getting old and resigned too? ;-)"
I only mention one user who usually employs such expressions (and since he and I have already had the opportunity to discuss this openly, I don't think it's gossip but just a reference). I was referencing those who have that kind of attitude and no one else (if you've used it too, I don't remember). I can say that I find it annoying, can't I? Especially if I notice that certain groups don’t receive the same "preferential treatment"... Then think that I'm boring or heavy because I don't believe I've ever crossed certain limits of civility, and that's what matters most to me.

Ole, I simply said that I dislike the fact that someone goes and rates reviews with a 1 without reading them, no matter whose they are. I can certainly point that out to you, right? Just as you point out that certain things I say bore you... Or would you prefer someone who is always agreeable? It's not like we can agree on everything. Anyway, my issue was that this review is a multiple duplicate (the fifth, if I'm not mistaken), and for some strange reason, the usual "goofy" comments haven't appeared. I wondered why that is (of course, I jumped to the conclusion that it's a triumph of relativism masked as objectivity), but that can also be debated (you only did that in the last comment, though; in previous ones, you’ve always remained vague even in other reviews), and I take note that if you say your 1s are not malicious, I have no reason not to believe you. The fact is, if you try to remember, you've been carrying on the battle against duplicates for at least a year now with your usual copy-paste of DeBaser's "regulations." I can't tell you that your stance has become a bit tedious for me because I find that it often strikes randomly without really delving into the review (because it’s not just something you’ve done with the Starblazer reviews). I don't think I've offended or hurt your honor to the point of saying something like "Watch out, you're barking up the wrong tree." Then again, I repeat, we can't really agree on everything...
