@There are users who have done worse than insinuate about editorial conduct, but they have been truly offensive against all the rules of civility, common sense, etc. etc., and they are still free to wallow (I would prefer not to provide any links, as I don't want to give further publicity to certain people: I ask everyone to trust me) on these pages. What I think is that the ban on Yosif was made in a fit of "momentary anger" and as a mood reaction, and like all mood reactions, it was well-intentioned but exaggerated: a mistake and a terrible precedent (I don't even want to think about how many might latch onto this in the future). This is my opinion.

@Neu!: it has experienced a decline, but this is physiological within the Debaserian context, which sees a total of 25% fewer reviews compared to the average of 2007 (and even less compared to 2006). Overall, the oculistics are "holding up" more, let's say.

@There are serious issues that have gone unchecked on the Site, so I don't see why anyone should be surprised. What I wonder, though, is whether comment 52 is more serious or the whole mess it triggered (because I repeat, it wasn’t Yosif who brought up the matter). As for the specific discussion, I don’t know what happened in the chat or the terms of the debate, so I don’t want to discuss it: each of you knows what really happened, so it stays your business. What bothered me is that Yosif was banned (although I heard it was a temporary choice and has now been rescinded), because he was the least responsible for the faults attributed to him. Anyway, I believe that playing with fire is more about praising the return of the BR like it's happening "over there" than anything that has happened here. Then again, I don’t know. Bye.

I intervene publicly, after having done so privately, in the topic "Yosi banned". Well, aside from the fact that post 52 is in bad taste (and I point that out in comment 89), it must be acknowledged that it wasn't the reviewer who brought Trell into it, but other users. Although the comment 52 is lacking in sensitivity and quite out of place, it does say one thing right: there are far too many users on this site who approach the subject of death (with "best wishes" or glorifying murder as is happening in a review in HP at the moment) with far too much lightheadedness (or violence, or vulgarity: insert the noun you like) and in the topic in question, there were a couple of users who were resolving their private matter while dragging poor Trell into it. Honestly, I would have gotten angrier about this than about post 52, but I know these are very personal and subjective discussions, so I'm not here to judge. I just wanted to express my doubts. Bye.

Nazism in Germany came to power democratically (relative majority, 44% of the votes, and absolute majority through the alliance with the DNVP). It may be an isolated example, but it is worth remembering when it is said that a dictatorship always comes from a minority.

I believe the point is that violence should not be supported in any way, that’s it: it wasn’t, and isn’t, that hard to say “neither with the BR nor with the State.” A little more than 60 years ago, a man freed a nation of 400 million people without lifting a finger against another man… that’s where we should start over, and instead we only think about “killing” the opponent, more or less physically, more or less morally. That’s the horror. What if we were our own opponents? Perhaps we should just kill each other off and be done with it.

I was talking about the C'e'-Giustiziere quarrel, I only just saw your comment 52 and I didn't like it either; you should be careful not to trivialize things that have meant a lot to those who have been on this Site for a while.

I suggest not bringing up Trell anymore: what's the point? Would it really help clarify the situation that has arisen between you? I don't think so.

Currently, the average turnover in HP for acoustics is 4 days but is slipping towards 5. Oculistics, on the other hand, maintain the average of their debut: 5-6 new ones every ten days; the Interior ones are similar. Therefore, if there is a category in decline, it is precisely that of acoustics, hence the rather strange talk Neu should now address for those as well.
