Mastodon Crack The Skye

Nash is from '74 (great year!) and so he's 35 this year, and they can't ask him for miracles repeatedly anymore. Stoudemire is a force of nature, but he lacks character level, and O'Neill (an unforgivable market mistake to take him instead of Marion, especially considering his age) isn't the type to play the nurturing role that the organization hoped for. But the big problem is that the starting five was prepared by D'Antoni for a very specific type of play, and Shaquille in that system (which, all things considered, hasn’t been drastically altered by either coach this season; it just missed technical and competitive prerequisites given the average age) is an oxymoron.

@Larrock: luckily, I had already prepared myself since the beginning of the season. As I already told DonJ, without a serious strategist on the bench and with an average age fit for a nursing home, it’s already a miracle that we stayed in the race until (almost) the end.

Good review for a good album (although in the long run I think it will tire me out like their others). I'm giving you one point less because I cheer for the Suns ;-).
Tori Amos Live At Montreux 1991-1992

The LZ covers are "Thank You" on side A and a medley "Whole Lotta Love/Thank You" on side B. In '91, when she appeared at the Festival, the song "Silent, all these years" had already been released as a single, and within the realm of American female singer-songwriter music, it was a significant impact: of course, it wasn’t as popular as it became after the album was released in '92 ("Little Earthquakes") and the single "Crucify," and especially "Under the Pink" in '94, but it was somewhat known (also due to her past with "Y Kant Tori Read"). I don't fully agree with the idea of a faded myth, as surely the level of her current compositions isn’t what it was in the '90s, but just taking a quick trip on YouTube and typing Tori Amos Cover makes it clear how she still manages to inspire many people across generations (even with recent songs). The single "Welcome To England," just released, confirms her extreme skill and elegance as an arranger. In my opinion, "Abnormally Attracted to Sin" is going to be a great album. I purchased this work (and appreciated it) in both formats, even though I already had pirate "bootleg" copies from years before. This is the Amos that struck me: good for talking about her. A double 5 is inevitable.
Giuseppe De Santis Riso amaro

In my personal opinion, it is the weakest among all the films of Italian Neorealism, with a rather fragmented and "extemporaneous" plot. Without Gassmann and Mangano, it would probably have a lesser "cult" status.

Just to clarify, the Ferreri Tour is turning out to be a tremendous flop: not even half of the tickets sold. In Vicenza, only 300 people went to see her: a sign (if confirmation was needed) that now record sales (or legal downloads) and the live music scene are two worlds living their own lives and not interacting (with very few exceptions... but we're talking about sacred monsters of popularity). It’s also a sign that musically in this country there is still hope... despite "X Factor."
