Scorpions Love At First Sting

I don't agree with some definitions you provide, like that HM referred to the Scorpions, even if this might be their most "tense" work, but it remains Hard Rock (not that it's a limit, eh! It's just a matter of definitions...). Plus, putting labels is always subjective, but I think in this case it’s right to adjust the perspective. An album that sounds a bit sentimental now, but still gives a good example of how these 5 guys rocked: the live recording from the tour of this album marked an era in its own way. Good review.

I don't know, I like it. I don't honestly find it Goth. Decadent perhaps, but not goth. Surely, as Giovanni said above, the first and third are on another level, but this one still sounds good too.

@Madcat: you'll see that something else will pop up too :-D @Fede: it’s never too late ;-) @Psycho: I think doing semiotic analyses of the text takes away the charm from almost everything ;-) Hello and thanks to everyone

@Madcat: well, if you mention Nirvana, not so much ;-) Thanks for dropping by! @Fede: I'll tell you, I read it at 19 and then at 35, so I believe it’s a book that inspires a "mature" second reading.

I also read the review (I was in a hurry before): excellent writing but perhaps a bit too "kind" towards the album. Still giving 5 for talking about her anyway.

@Geenoo: well, it seems to me that you’ve ā€œshaped upā€ quite nicely, so you didn’t make a mistake ;-) @Enbar: thanks for the compliment. Yes, I’ve already read it (the only one I’m missing from Murakami is the essay ā€œUndergroundā€) and I must say that it’s probably his most ā€œmusicalā€ novel (even though they all are or nearly so in the end) and I liked it, but if I had to make a ranking, perhaps (establishing that my favorite is the subject of the review) I would place ā€œDance Dance Danceā€ in second place and ā€œKafka on the Shoreā€ in third. Hello everyone!
