Tough question! It definitely has nothing to do with Radiohead. Many consider Nick Cave to be quite depressing and difficult to listen to, but perhaps you could try with "Let Love In" or "Murder Ballads." Starting the journey with "No More Shall We Part" could be psychologically challenging ;-D
