great Cleo! a comeback like a queen! maybe it's because I know the places so well, but I saw everything unfold before my eyes... all that’s left for me is to fill this gap and listen to them before I manage to pronounce their names correctly!

Carmen Consoli / Nada Live in Fano, 24-07-04

Ach! The missed meeting, there were so many debaseriani in Fano! Even though I was quite upset to learn that next year the violin and flint won't happen... already disturbed frequencies...
Regarding the concert, nothing more to say than what I already have or this review that captures it perfectly, and then... I love this woman :D
Nada was truly a revelation, and the opening track Rosario was of stunning intensity. Her sack-like dress was curious and very fitting, reminding me of Bjork's, whom I've seen right in this same square a few years ago...

And when you least expect it... big surprise! But I'm being picky; along with the Mac, you could have gotten a digital one and showed us some shots too :D

Bugo Golia & Melchiorre
Voto:
saw yesterday for a brief live set at the music store in Milan with Joe Valeriano, he played a few acoustic pieces, all from Golia, the one with the Neil Young-style Harvest cover: Rimbambito, Iperblues, Se avessi cinquant'anni (on piano!) ending with Io mi rompo i coglioni in acoustic among the ladies watching him like annoyed mothers because of the swear words learned from their kids at school, only to start clapping along later :D too bad he didn't break anything, we were hoping when he headbutted a chandelier hanging too low on stage... he's really a rimbambito!
Paolo Fresu 5 Questions + 1 a Paolo Fresu

how nice that the 5 questions are back! well done, Hal, although I think we should give more visibility to these interviews, especially now that there are also the informative pages of the authors. the ratings don’t really make much sense either… nani, what do you think?
