Miles Davis Bitches Brew

great dick, hilarious review and an album for me still to discover, I've stuck with "relax" jazz, which I actually don't mind at all. Anyway, since this week I'm high on acetaminophen, I might be in the ideal condition to appreciate Davis :D

but... what about the interpols like the old Posillipo? instead, the fantastic mix shit-glitter-London reminded me of that time I carelessly took a turkish delight from a vending machine in the tube... if only I had listened to lady franca... oops laura

And another toast to Asband's first comment! Are you egocentric? No problem, you're in good company here :D

well done Socrates, I like it a lot too, one of my favorite albums of last year, even if every time This is That New Song starts I automatically start singing the ice cream cart was passing by and that man was shouting gelati... nothing compared to Nick Drake :D

I, on the other hand, have a serious problem with Stability link rotto really dirty and nasty :D it lasts 12 minutes, so to get 19 hours you only need 95 repeats.

Great review as always, but... will I like the album? To be honest, the dreamlike dimension and the cover with the butterfly don't really attract me, but who knows... maybe another round of odd-even plates in Milan will make me dive into the reading-listening combo on the metro!

Just in time! I listened yesterday as a supporter of R.E.M., and I can confirm the positive points made in the excellent review.

I totally agree with psycho and easy. Having appreciated both XRTMNTR and vanishing point, and having only heard about screamadelica as a milestone, I was expecting a lot. Instead, when I listened to it, I didn't find anything that interesting. In fact, in that genre, I definitely prefer the Happy Mondays of pills and thrills etc.
