I do not agree about the longevity of songs filled with humor and silliness; in the end, they meet the same fate as others, becoming tiresome and ultimately annoying. In my opinion, if one can listen to them a few more times, it is due, as you also pointed out, to their skill; they are truly exceptional musicians.
