... damn it sounds like the music I used to make with my old band ... ah ah ah ... I had an Alt Rock / Noise band ... a bit less Prog than their sound and a bit more Space!

I heard something about their "My Space"... but I wouldn't sing its praises so highly.
PS: you forgot to mention that they are also progressive, in the genres you indicated... PS: I don't know why, but they sound a bit like Mars Volta!
Porcupine Tree Deadwing

This album is not as bad as you describe; we’re always stuck in the usual reasoning: "but does a band have to forcefully invent something new to create something good? ... can’t it simply reinterpret musical theories from the past? ... isn’t that enough? ... bah."
I agree that it’s the least personal album by Porcupine, the most "simplistic," the most "consensus-seeking" they’ve ever made... but it’s a good album, enjoyable and played with excellent talent... then in reality it’s nothing but a prelude to the excellent subsequent album "Fear of a Blank Planet"... be patient, but the Porcupine can’t keep making the music they were born with... they have to evolve and they’ve chosen this path... or should they disappear forever?
Tokio Hotel Scream
Voto:
They have an incredible grip on the teenage audience! ... it's music made to enrich record labels, we don't even need to kid ourselves about it!!! ... in reality, they (the Tokyo Hotel) are also victims ... they will soon be ground and chewed up and then spat out by the Music Business, and no one will care about them anymore! ... after all, this happens to so many bands that come to the limelight just because it's "a musically favorable moment" for them.
Hi.

P.S.: Oh, so it's not a girl singing ... can you believe it!
Marlene Kuntz Uno
Voto:
I listened to this latest effort from Marlene, and I must say I was a bit taken aback... I mean, musically they have "dumbed down" a bit... still, it's a good work but a thousand miles away from "Senza Peso," which I consider one of the best albums for originality (let's not even get into the previous records before "Che Cosa Vedi," to which I'm more attached). ... the Marlene of the past won't return, and that's just how it is, because it's normal for a band to evolve over time and to also change their initial sound significantly.
Anyway, I agree with what you say in the review... the album is rather bland... but rich in poetry! ... it's an easy listen musically, but at the lyrical level, it's very deep and not immediate. ... I believe they will remain forever hidden in the shadows, dedicating themselves to a continually smaller elite audience... but perhaps that's just how it should be.

Ugh, so can we know why you find these Verdena disgusting if you don’t propose valid alternatives?? ... yes, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age ... etc ... but they aren’t the Verdena ... we’re talking about different musical concepts ... the Verdena are the Verdena and I can’t compare them to other bands out there (to me they are interesting, genuine, and sincere in their music) ... and who cares if they take inspiration from music that already exists (everyone does that ... no one invents a genre from scratch!!) ... they can be simple, or complicated ... but who cares! ... so can you propose a valid alternative? ... something like "these guys make the music of Verdena but 100 times better"?

Thank you Fest ... I didn’t know these bands ... I’ll look for something. ... anyway, I assume they are all foreign bands, at least the Verdena have the merit of being Italian ... and still, come on, they’re not bad, they had some great ideas in this last album ... it’s clear that I’m speaking without knowing the bands you mention ... as I’ve said in the past, personal tastes depend on the "cultural history one has" ... it’s evident that right now, for me, the Verdena are a valid band (I’ve listened to a lot of music in my life, but maybe I haven’t listened to the genre they refer to) ... so maybe by listening to groups that do that kind of music 100 times better, I could also change my point of view ... in short, that’s why I say that only from a long-term perspective can one judge a band.

Ah ah ah ah! ... here we go!! .. pointless statements like "the Verdena are copying here and there ... the same as Kyuss" ... it's just crazy talk ... in short, I don't want to argue with those who take shots and say nonsense ... please take the time to listen to this latest album properly! ... and you'll understand the talent of this band ... which, by the way, they may come off as unlikable is another matter. ... however, the success they've had in Europe over the past year confirms that their talent is recognized elsewhere (thankfully) ... and anyway, I don't want to sing the praises of Verdena, but please, let's give Caesar what belongs to Caesar!

PS: can you give me examples of music copied from others in this latest album? Thanks.
