Oh crap, I'm just realizing that there are 41 reviews of the latest DT... could it be a masterpiece? Anyway, I've just sent in my review of this album! By the way, reservations are being accepted for reviewing the next one.

Hello Petro :). Yes, I was referring to AND...not a bad album (though I reiterate that it’s missing a certain something!). As for the rest, what the concert conveyed to you is important...and it’s true that Vincent & co. appeared much more approachable. Wilson conveys a lot to me as a character (even in his impassiveness). To conclude, and speaking of approachability, Colin was following the audience's suggestions (for example, I asked him to slap, he smiled at me and started slapping....awesome Colin). :) PS: deadwing is not the masterpiece of PT, but it’s an album that has a lot to offer; after all, PT has never released an album just for the sake of it. Dead is an excellent CD and, in my opinion, more interesting than IA (it’s more played). Don’t let a prejudice guide you, but listen to it for what it is....you’ll find it interesting. word of Logic :)

And for the record, in Londonderry, you get arrested for much less... including tourists. Maybe it's not just a Muslim thing! Or do we want to stop at labeling the good and the bad? Come on guys, let’s make an effort (and I include myself in this) to look beyond stigmatizations, beyond our own noses. IT CAN BE DONE! NOT EVERYTHING THAT APPEARS IS.

Well... I'll stop here since we are talking about SERIOUS MUSIC. Great reviews for an amazing album.
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon

As for the review, it seems to be poorly done... I'm sorry to say this, Angelo. There's a lack of real information about the album (for example, it would be indicative to mention that the sound engineer for the album is Alan Parson... which also brings a certain type of sound). It seems like your review is looking for a direct confrontation... like throwing a little bomb into Debaser (since it's well known that a fight breaks out over the PF). I really didn't like it, and I won't vote for it. I'll only vote for the album. BYE
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon

This sounds better... this sounds worse... the first one was a completely different thing... the latest ones are frightfully terrible... when reviewing Pink Floyd (or any other group, as long as they are at least somewhat known), one always falls into the usual clichés. I think (and here I'm not fond of the phrase "everyone stay quiet") that it's right to express one's opinions. I believe, moreover, that records should be reviewed keeping in mind the period in which the album was produced, the members of the band that plays it, the commercial duties (or obligations), and what the album aims to convey. Considering the intertwining of these events, one cannot claim that DSOTM is an album that has little to say. When listening to The great gig in the sky, you get goosebumps, and it doesn't matter if the piece is less interesting than Piper (and then even if easy (and this is debatable...) the album is wonderful).
Vasco Rossi Buoni O Cattivi

You see Edge, the point is not to assert that Vasco shouldn't please everyone universally (that would be absurd). Anyone can like Vasco and that doesn't make it worthy of criticism. What I can’t stand, however, is when I hear that music in Italy stops at Vasco Rossi and that there’s nothing more out there. This is absolutely wrong! In Italy, there’s a lot of music from the most diverse genres and the groups that play it are no less than their European and American counterparts. It’s up to the "Italians" to seek out the good and right things among the sea of ultra well-packaged and prettily tied up by the record companies. That's all.
Marillion Season's End

PS: my favorite piece by Marillion is "She Camaleon" from Fugazi. I know nobody cares....oh well, tough luck :P

True, good old Steve is getting older, and it’s inevitable... but he sings like crazy!!! Do you remember Angelina? Anyway, I feel like recommending watching the DVD of Brave (that movie is sooo beautiful). As for Marbles... I managed to get my hands on the full version on 2 CDs... it's not like the second CD adds much apart from Ocean Cloud (a very interesting and long piece). The other tracks added are negligible (like the lazy Marillion from recent years). Anyway, Marbles is proof that if you want to make quality music, you can easily tell record companies to take a hike.
Vasco Rossi Buoni O Cattivi

Italian music offers so much, if not more. Of course, if by Italian music you mean the music sponsored by record labels, then it's hard to find quality music. Try listening to: Klimt1918, Nosound, Chiave di volta, Giardini di Mirò, Cap, Saro Cosentino, Lino Cannavacciuolo, Diaframma, Anima, Massimo Volume, Neoismo, etc. Sure, it depends on the genre you prefer, but in the underground scene (which isn’t even that underground), you can find a wealth of variety. And if Vasco is your ultimate destination... then it’s pointless to even look around, but don’t come to me saying that Italian music only offers this. :)
