Opeth Blackwater Park
Voto:
Sorry guys, but if Opeth sounds a bit like Pink Floyd, it's thanks to the fifth man, the one who works behind the scenes in the control room: Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree. That guy is behind the best productions out there right now and he's like a Midas of music! Wherever he puts his hands, interesting albums come out.

This album, along with Boy and October, is, in my opinion, a trilogy. Three albums at the same level. Elementary yet edgy sounds, and above all, they carry the hope and desire to change that are typical of adolescence. The youthful “anger” of U2 flows during that period, undoubtedly the golden age of U2, although I agree with Grass. The two most beautiful albums remain Unforgettable Fire and Joshua. Nice review... although it seems a bit apprehensive regarding the judgment of the debasers. :)

thank you ege. Anyway, I’m not short on patience; in fact, the more a record needs "patience," the more I’m convinced it’s interesting. Don't you think? Ciauz and thanks for the advice. :)
Andrea Chimenti Vietato morire
Voto:
Hi ajeje, well I wouldn't know if it's his best. In my opinion, the most interesting one is the qohelet (music-singing-recitation and reading of passages that focus on the created and the creator... you could say it's an album that goes beyond music). Il porto sepolto (that is, Ungaretti in music) and this one are on the same wavelength. Also, I recommend you take a look at the cantico dei cantici (recitation of texts on piano, all recorded in church). The only problem is that they are hard to find and, imagine, even Chimenti no longer has the original master tapes!!! Anyway, if you can manage to check out this CD, you should like it. :)

Oh dear! I've never heard of it, and already I have drool dripping from the side of my mouth! From the way you talk about it, my curiosity has exploded... could you add some samples? Is it hard to find on the market? Great review, by the way.

Clap Clap. When I read in my email Hal, Hal from Hal, I thought:
1) oh my god, the good old Hal is suffering from megalomania;
2) Hal has lost it;
3) Hal got a little too carried away with that blonde from the other night;
anyway, the review is flawless. PS but aren’t you tired of all the compliments?
Andrea Chimenti Vietato morire
Voto:
Great album by one of the Italian authors I admire the most. It’s like saying an Italian Sylvian, whose experimentation makes even Sylvian himself pale (I’m thinking of Qohelet, the Song of Songs of King Solomon, and so on). This album, “vietato morire,” speaks of loneliness, of life made up of moments, and of the awareness of them. I had the pleasure of having a long conversation with Andrea Chimenti, and I must say he is truly an excellent person, open to any kind of musical experimentation. The album in question is very beautiful, minimal, and “Sylvianesque.” Excellent review for an excellent album. :)

I give you a nice 5 in the review, and not because it's detailed (azz george, these reviews are a bit lacking), but because you didn’t bend and continued on your path. For me, this is worth more than an album (whether it's good or bad). Anyway, try to improve the reviews. Ciauz. :)

Hey, it's been a while since I passed by here!! So, you can find the album online by trying to download it from someone. Anyway, compared to Code, it's a whole different thing; I hope you like it. Hex is definitely a great album, like the later period of Talk Talk. Enjoy listening if you manage to find it, and let me know. Bye :)

Wow, I'm glad Socr, if you really like it that can only bring me joy. :) It's the first time someone buys a CD online based on my recommendation. The album is worth it, I really hope you enjoy it. PS: thanks for your trust. :)
