When I started reading and saw that you were speaking in the first person plural, I expected you to say: I WANT MY TREASUREEEEEEEEEEE! THE PATRONIAN HAS STOLE OUR TREASUREEEEEEEEEEE! Great review for the album of the new millennium (bug). :D

Giubbo, I give you a 5 for the last comment... I'm still rolling on the floor laughing :)

Sorry Axl, just to correct: Gerrard is the only Australian while Perry is English with an Irish mother and an English father. I believe it's incorrect to label the group as Australian. Otherwise, great review and very good album. Bye and sorry for the interruption :)

Fun little disc, like it or not, we all kind of vibed with it (maybe because it was heavily advertised). I remember back in the day I was taking drum lessons and we would watch educational videos by Matt Sorum…God, the laughs (he even made educational videos!!!)…what he showed were the basic drumming techniques! I recall that after we’d turn off the video, we would watch a Metheny concert. Cute little album that I won't rate, though. Sparse review even if, deep down, it’s not bad. One piece of advice: don’t be afraid of the judgment from the debaserians, write what you feel without fear of: "and you start throwing shit at me;". Ciauz :)

Beautiful album... I would dare to define it as crepuscular, whispered like all the discography of Sigur. By the way, they should be working on the new album. :)
The Flower Kings The Rainmaker

The album is frankly so-so. You listen to it and forget it. I believe the Flower Kings stop at Retropolis, a decidedly more interesting album (does Stolt's voice not remind you of Waters?). In my opinion, that’s their masterpiece. Then there’s something to say about insideout... but I don’t feel like talking about record labels. Good review. :)

about Live 8: The Pink Floyd faded in front of The Who. Mason is washed up, wrong timing, late entrances, freshman-style drumming, Waters and Gilmour noticeably slowing down to cover his mistakes and missed beats (after all, he just can't do it anymore... and it shows). Gilmour still plays, no doubt about that, but the voice... well! And not even a laugh (I mean, who cares if you hate Roger, you have to play 3 songs, you're not marrying him!). Waters, the most vital of the three, is evident and felt. I appreciated him at the end when he went to grab Gilmour and made him bow with the rest of the band. Chills in those 40 minutes... Who and Pink Floyd, damn guys, music history just passed through London... in Rome, there were Zero, Pausini, and Baglioni!!!!!! oh my God!

Oysterhead! Yeah, it's done in a week, but that album sounds like all the "superband" albums... little to nothing. It's not that great. They sound better in their original bands. My opinion, of course. Bye
