Cesare Cremonini Maggese
Voto:
Dear Laura, I didn't say I hate Cremonini, come on... he’s not George W. Bush or Silvio Berlusconi!!! Moreover, I said I feel like hating him with the laughing emoji, which is a sign of joking and not of truth. What reason would I have to hate him? It seems to me that my position on this is clear: to each their own (read again and you’ll see I’m right). Inevitably, some fans' comments are just love letters addressed to Cremonini. Nothing wrong with that, mind you, but it doesn’t make sense to write them here, does it? That Cesare is liked by girls is not a problem, and I’m certainly not jealous. Even though it may seem strange, I have a fantastic girlfriend whom I respect, adore, and admire, with whom I have a fulfilling sexual life and much more (actually, our living together is poetry in itself because she is the soul of my being). No, I’m not jealous of Cesare; if you read the comment on the review written by Claudio Pessotto, you’ll see objective opinions (I’m speaking for myself) about this work. In my opinion, Cremonini’s music is too overrated, but the fact that I express this judgment doesn’t mean you have to agree with my thoughts. That’s all. I hug you and enjoy listening. Logic :)
Negramaro Mentre tutto scorre

I listened to the album and it didn’t catch my attention, actually... I downloaded it for my girlfriend who now can't stand it anymore. Four and a half listens seem too many; you can get the feel of the album right from the first listen and it requires low assimilation (there’s really very little experimentation). I can recommend to the Negramaro the Punch & Judy, which are of much, much higher quality (to give you an idea, they’re halfway between Jeff Buckley and Sting's Latin American pieces!!). The Negramaro fall into that category like Deasonika that mimics Europe but lacks personality. If they are the hope for Italian pop, they need to start rolling up their sleeves. There’s still a long way to go. Bye :)

I have very little passion, in fact almost none, for American cinema. Few films keep me glued to the screen until the end without shouting (especially the more macho and sensationalist ones). But when you stumble upon a film like that, well, it can last for days; I never get tired of it. BEAUTIFUL film.

Sorry girls, but using the site to write love letters to Cesare seems excessive to me!!!! Why don't you write them on his site? At least he’ll read them (?). Ugh, I feel like I hate this guy..... :)
Vasco Rossi Buoni O Cattivi

Okay silver, I agree and endorse your last statement. So, when I say quality music, I mean not only the ability to handle the instrument but also the skill to propose, with the usual seven limited notes, new music that can’t be pigeonholed. (Speaking of Vasco, for example, I find the song about "the train that doesn't come anymore" interesting and absolutely new compared to his usual clichés (forgive me, I can't remember the name :P)). I hate songs made to cash in and sell (I mean, with all the money he already has because he sells tons, couldn’t he try to do something different... or not?). Think of Fossati, for example, who sells with his singer-songwriter albums but presents side projects (instrumentals) that are nothing short of amazing (double quality in this case). When I hear songs like "fine millennio" by Vasco... well... I don’t think it’s a must-have masterpiece. I don’t know if I’ve explained myself... maybe I got tangled up, but I hope it conveys my thought. Ciauz :)

Finally Silver, let's not comment by saying that everyone buys and nobody understands a c... I'm trying to reason with you, with pure calm and soft tones, nothing more and nothing less. It's clear that you like Vasco and I won't come to discuss this with you, nor do I ABSOLUTELY want you to think like me. You have already expressed your love for Vasco, I would do the same with Porcupine Tree. The fact of feeling part of your "idol" is human. Accept, however, just as I will accept it, someone who offers you a perspective different from your own. I'm sending you a hug. Logic

Silver, don't take it as an insult. My statement is based on evidence and not on the specific Vasco. And I reiterate that quality is not always proportional to filling stadiums. I must also correct you by saying that many Italian bands have talent to spare, and not because they "imitate" Vasco. On the contrary, they offer something different, that deviates from a well-tested format (like Vasco) and from a well-oiled machine. Don't feel accused; these are observations. Anyone who achieves popular success fills stadiums, but that doesn't mean the music produced is wonderful in an "ABSOLUTE" sense (and I repeat, I'm not attacking Vasco; I believe that filling stadiums is not a reliable measure of comparison). An example of valid and underestimated Italian bands: Sig V. You see, Silver, I was once a "little fan" of Vasco too, but over time I discovered other music. What I criticize are some statements you've made. That's all, with the utmost respect. Bye :)

Wonderful review! You nitpick across the board, denouncing the "sinistra style" for fashion or profession. In line with Ferretti (much more evolved in the lyrics and less about "breaking"). Truly beautiful... one of my immediate favorites. PS the album...well... at this point... I’ll leave it on the shelf. :) Logic
Era The very best of Era
Voto:
The Era, the Era! Very best... mhh! So guys, the Era have released 3 albums, the first one with new tracks. The second one features remakes of the old songs plus some new ones (overall more commercial than the first). The third is a remake of the old songs plus something new. And now? Now it's time for the very best!!!!!!! That is, suck it up for the 15th time with the same tracks from the first album in a new version!!!!! Damn, it's always the same ones and they come to talk to me about a best! The same album 4 times! That said, Eric Levi could make an effort to produce an album with new songs. As for the rest, if you're not familiar with this album, it's fine (and I agree with the review), but if you already have something published, well, don’t buy the same album 11 times! Better to download the missing tracks (which are just the old ones hidden under a false name). I hate commercial operations, especially when the CD is at full price! Good review. Bye Logic :)
