2004 - For the first time, a compilation featuring the best tracks by Era is released...
My first thought upon hearing the news was: "Very well, but excuse my ignorance...who are these so-called Era?"
Let's take a step back; formed by about thirty artists divided into musicians, singers, and composers, they had their golden moment around the nineties. Indeed, in those years, many soundtracks for historical or fantasy films, but always with a medieval style, were entrusted to this group. For example, just listen to the famous: AMENO, MISERI MENI, and ENAE VOLARE to understand their musical and artistic value.
Now back to us... in this latest work, beautiful songs alternate, each with different values and emotions. Indeed, in DON'T YOU FORGET and I BELIEVE, upon listening, one experiences a sense of sadness and nostalgia toward a future full of uncertainties. It is no coincidence that in Italian, the two songs mean: Don't forget and observing something... It is also noteworthy the role that the music assumes... in fact, it is truly the main protagonist as it manages to cradle us and transport us into a state of awe and wonder...
If you think this is nonsense or if, more simply, my review has piqued your curiosity, I invite you to listen to this musical masterpiece!
