As disinterested as I am in this group, it seems to me that more than a review, you just wanted to speak poorly of them. In my view, you don’t argue enough, and what comes out is that they simply get on your nerves. All good, mind you, but it’s really unclear why they can’t do what they do. The little I’ve heard from them didn’t excite me, but it was very well played. Whether they are a phenomenon or not, that’s not my concern. They definitely aren’t in my playlists. More objectivity and less spiteful sentiment (you would have, thus, truly discredited the band). Ciauzz :)

Gothic Line, that is the defensive line of the Germans (at the height of the Po Valley) against the Allies. Line of death (about 140,000) and of fortification. A line that serves to buy time and instill fear. The disk is a fortification, a way to buy time to defend oneself and realign one's "viewpoints". A tough but at the same time extremely clear-sighted and concerned Ferretti. A disk that is not a simple j'accuse against the Church or anything else, but rather a careful and alarmed analysis of the present, where the way out is in rediscovering the instinctual side of man and the harmony with creation. Musically absolutely complete, challenging, and experimental. In essence.....A MASTERPIECE.

Anonymous, there are many variables to keep in mind to become famous (and I agree with this). However, talking about easily accessible music here doesn’t seem wrong to me. There is no type of experimentation or innovation; instead, a standardized framework is followed (verse, chorus, verse, chorus, end). And yes, one must do this framework well, but it is meaningless when considering bands that truly experiment, with spine-tingling quality, who don’t achieve popularity. Quality and popularity shouldn’t be viewed on the same level; they don’t always travel on parallel tracks. In my own opinion. LP
