Jeff Buckley Sketches For My Sweetheart The Drunk
Voto:
The beauty of this album is the contrast between the rawness of the sound and the refinement of the voice and melody. The commercial aspect does not take away from Buckley's genius and delicacy, and damn, I think I would have been a different person if I hadn't discovered Morning theft... heartbreaking!

I waited all day, you waited all day, but you left before sunset, and I just wanted to tell you, that moment was beautiful. Just wanted to dance to bad music, drive bad cars, watch bad TV... should have stayed for the sunset, if not for me.
It seems to me the most heartfelt album by PJ, little reasoning and a lot of soul, wonderful... graphically certainly the most beautiful.

The Quintorigo are genius and above all great musicians, I saw them once in concert and they are technically perfect, every one of them (conservatory teaches). Di Leo has a killer voice (so much style), especially in its natural state, like in "dimentico," "bassabassa," and with that slight rasp. I really loved the version of "Deux Heures De Soleil," it was powerful with brass and percussion. While I agree on "clap hands," even though they had performed it in preview at a concert and he had interpreted it much better, with less distortion, keeping his voice lower and straining less. However, I preferred the other albums... kristo yessssssssssssss, now I can say, thank God, now I’m here... madonnas weeping, madonnas weeping, I'll only believe it when, only when I see them laughing...

Well, for jazz fusion it could be, I thought it was something else (I don’t know, the word fusion makes me think of lounge, my mistake, I apologize..), for funk, I basically meant to say that we’re not talking about funky music, but about musca funk. Maybe (but I say maybe) I exaggerated a bit with the tones, but a little bit of useless controversy always helps in the end, doesn’t it? :)

FUNK, DAMN IT, FUNK! It’s not a funky record, it’s a freakin’ FUNK record!!!!! Not even jazz fusion (if anything, jazz fusion with funk but more funk than jazz), it’s funk, maybe not great, but played like a god. But it’s still a damn funk, FUNK!!!!
