One of my favorites from his entire body of work (for me, he’s on Olympus next to a few others). In my opinion, his only limit, when looked at now, is his unapologetically 80s style—in the direction, the costumes, the hairstyles (!!), and the cinematography. But at that time, it was a true "blockbuster" where, in my view, those limits you mention aren’t so noticeable that they undermine its image and "artistic" value. And the tension remains very high even though it doesn’t stand out for the typically splatter aspect we are used to, as usual. In short, in plain words, for me it’s really a damn perfect movie!!! And Walken is incredible. @Bartolo: if you like Cronenberg, you HAVE to see it.

Hello "Wisest Son," thank you for the ride and the judgment.

Here, I've just now read your first review (welcome and congratulations!) after reading Emi's more enthusiastic one. The doubts I had about this new work have returned :-/ At this point, I just need to listen to it as soon as possible so I can share my thoughts meaningfully! Very well done analysis, though; a thoughtful and thorough review. Really nice. Bye.

I mean? To make you happy, do we all have to say that the review is a pile of crap? And to think I've read worse among these (many) pages... Come on, I was even tempted to get to know these 4 young English lads...

Alright, you've convinced me... Not that there was such a huge need for it, but you know how it is... I prroooocure!

Write back, Prince Frantzino.....

Faith: I certainly won't stone you even if I love The Lamb; in fact, it's the most multifaceted and perhaps challenging of their works, to the point that it will lead to the ultimate break. You’re right about the Crimson on the (too) cerebral side; I agree. Perhaps others love them precisely for this. I don't know...

Come back, Little Prince Frantz...

Good job Coglionazzzzz, for writing the exact title: and what is that guitar riff in that piece?? ..I didn't know some critics supported my idea. The fact is that when it comes to PROGRESSIVE, I have an unhealthy passion for Genesis which -for me- are unparalleled, (I know, don't stone me, the comparison doesn't hold up even for the jazz and experimental influences of the Crimson) so it's obvious that I appreciate their more recent sound more..
