Good morning to the first attendees, whom I don't believe will be followed by dozens more! But that's perfectly fine, few but good. This is not a film for crowds crowding the box office.
@Kappide, I think you'll really like it, and quite a lot. Not only because it's a beautiful film "contaminated by Visconti's influence," but also and especially because it's the story of a female disturbance that's very clear in its explosiveness and joy, despite all its nuances and consequences. Then let me know.
@Panapp, Melissa P. was REALLY an endless disaster (just like the book). This is something else; he is a "different" director here, and Swinton (the same reason why I got it in the original version) is, as always, masterful, especially in the ending (for me) a masterpiece. I somewhat trust and mistrust critics. And this is a GREAT film.
