Hi, think that I saw them live at the Rolling Stones in Milan in 1985 (shouts from the stands: "more voice for the blondeeee!" - response from the audience "She doesn't have itttt"!! - laughter galore) and they even previewed the songs from Protest that came out laboriously years later. Even considering that I'm pretty tired of them by now, I have to say that I went absolutely crazy for this work when I finally found it. It's not too bad, but a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then...

It's a pity that there is so little interest in a good review of a beautiful work, but people's tastes are inscrutable. I do not agree with Pascal, firstly because if you don't have the entire work, you can't judge it, and secondly because the "mature" works of Cocteau are necessarily different from the early ones and therefore lacking that "roughness" typical of the first new wave, but no less interesting for that. In fact, I think Liz's voice reaches impossible heights in the last 3 tracks. A curiosity that perhaps not everyone knows: Rilkean Heart is actually dedicated to Jeff Buckley, Frazier's partner in the period immediately preceding the album's release. Cheers!

Hi Breus, apart from my overwhelming envy for what you said (did you talk to them??), I have some photos from the beginning of their career where they look absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I have no idea what makeup the photographers of that time used, but the result, woow! Then I saw them in concert a year ago and... well, two middle-aged gentlemen a bit worn by life, but still with stunning, lively eyes...

"Late, as always. I haven't read many comments, but I prefer to talk only about your review, which I really liked a lot" - it’s more readable this way. The same goes for L'Adagio for Strings. Today my keyboard is slipping away from me!!

Late, as always. I haven’t read many comments, but I prefer to comment on your review which I really liked. I remember the soundtrack very well and it’s beautiful (I had it on cassette!). One curiosity: LADAGIO FOR STRINGS is really overused in soundtracks, and I can definitely recall at least one other: The Elephant Man with J. Hurt in an unrecognizable role. And every time I listen to it, I inevitably get emotional. Kisses, dear.

Isis: You mean we both remember... a dumb thing from 20 years ago??? Ah, we're in good shape...

I read the comments until about halfway through, then honestly I got tired. So I’ll just comment on the review, which is really excellent, but for the CD, I have to say it's the one I like the least compared to the others. I think the reason is that the genre itself, that of the hardcore singer-songwriter, (Tenco aside) has worn me out a bit, but that's just my personal opinion. Anyway, good job Hypno.. Bye
