Prozac+ Acido Acida

that was the chorus of the Scatman song for those who didn't get it... quite horrible, actually. For more information, see the movie "Selvaggi" by the Vanzina brothers... I guess growing up in the '90s wasn't all that better than growing up in the '80s..

Who is Scatman?... "pi pa paparopò paparopò pi paparopò paparopò.."

The "amarcord" effect seems to be coming alive often around here... especially I notice that our generation, those born in the early eighties, is very present and nostalgic. I have to say that as the years go by, perspectives change and beautiful, poetic things emerge that at the time they were lived didn’t seem very pleasant. If today I happen to listen to Scatman again, I pause, because it makes me feel a sense of tenderness, even though I really detested it back then. I've never really liked Prozac+, but they fit perfectly into the mix of musical-adolescent memories... though I associate them more with France '98...

You can't judge a record without having listened to it... if you had really listened to it, you wouldn't be so restrained in your insults... "Do you want it? I do..."... But can you?

However, you should have put the album cover that it deserves so much. "Ruvida" I think is dedicated to the toilet paper she uses, which is evidently her muse.

Okay... but let's wrap it up here. Honestly, it didn't seem to me like a review that warranted all these comments.

It is still unfair to belittle music just because it sounds "adolescent"... adolescence is a serious thing!

Zucchero is an artist who has now squandered all his talent. Despite having had the opportunity to work with great musicians and producers, he has never managed to create great masterpieces; on the contrary... he has often taken inspiration here and there and has recycled the same song multiple times. Perhaps his most respectable works are those from the '80s, like "Rispetto" or "Blues." I honestly don't believe that at 50, with all the drugs he's taken, he will be able to redeem himself. That said, I enjoyed the review, especially for how you manage to make the words poetic and elevate Zucchero's intentions.
