Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness (Disc 1: Dawn To Dusk)
Voto:
I couldn't listen to it due to poor conditions of the CD. But I didn't mind, even though I don't think I'll like it as much as everyone else does.

Okay, maybe the lesser one, but it definitely deserves a 4. I consider it an album in every way, even though it is only partially so. I might even prefer this to In the Wake of Poseidon, which is just too imperfect (Pictures of a City is a big rip-off of 21st Century, the title track is a rip-off of Epitaph, and Devil's Triangle just doesn't sit right. Only Cat Food stands out.)

This Cuculend takes the same rating as the mythical Comicopera. 4.5... The modern Roberto Viatti pleases me quite a bit, and I didn't expect it...

Then you even gave it 2 stars? But this is unbearable, not even if "there's nothing to do." Think about the people who have watched this even 2 times and don't even know what "2001: A Space Odyssey" is. It makes me want to cry.

Where Zorn is, I am too. I don't know this, so I'm going to look for it. "Pultroppo" is written "puRtroppo"! Saludos

@MuffinMan: Zappa is obviously non-negotiable, as he has been my personal idol for a long time; he was hilarious, with an unmatched style. But let's not criticize the Elii, who are the best we have in Italy these days. I find their way of making music very different from Zappa’s (unlike many who associate them), but that doesn’t mean they should be judged poorly.

For me, it's a sublime record, wonderful from start to finish. Either I'm exaggerating, or you haven't understood a damn thing.

I liked Perdition City just fine, but the one about Blake was really heavy, and I didn't like this one at all. Reflective, introspective, but maybe even too much, right? This isn’t the post-rock I enjoy.
