A friend of mine had told me about it (emphasizing those interruptions that say "And now... for something completely different!") and then I saw the collection among the shelves. But I've never seen it. Of the M.P.s, I've only seen "The Meaning of Life" (fantastic).

Of course, the Eighties contamination is very much felt, and indeed APP may not appeal to everyone. I don't remember having listened to this album in its entirety (but I did hear the title track, which I liked a lot). My favorite remains "Tales of Mystery and Imagination," followed by "Eve," and "Eye in the Sky."

A masterpiece of post-experimental Battiato and of Italian pop as a whole. Just great hits.. My fav: Gli uccelli, Summer on a solitary Beach, Segnali di vita.
