Even less, huh! :) A great album (when the title suite resumes after "I get up..." I always get chills!), a masterpiece. Although this album often tends to overshadow the rest of the discography, which until Relayer is a single pearl. A rather heartfelt reception, I would say.

Demetrio Stratos Cantare La Voce

A truly difficult listen, but essential. I'm also captivated by Stratos's voice, and I'm willing to endure any listening experience just to see what he could do with his voice. Even listening to a piece like "Criptomelodie infantili" (very heavy), which ultimately turns out to repeat "Ma che bel castello marcondirondirondello."

@azzo: No, it wasn't released by Kranky. As mentioned, it's an amateur recording "granted" at the group's explicit request. The video quality is indeed somewhat lacking, while the audio (though good) is clearly not recorded "professionally." Anyway, grab it; it's fantastic (it's on eMule, you won't find it anywhere else, alas).

I give it a 5 without hesitation. Essential: "Sguardo verso il cielo" is a masterpiece both instrumentally and lyrically. "Era inverno" is a light yet bittersweet poem. A track that I also really enjoy is "Morte di un fiore," simple and, as always, poetic. This is the strength of Le Orme, who shortly after will release what I consider their absolute peak, "Uomo di pezza." A FONDAMENTAL group.
