Hi Tepes, thank you for the compliment... as for the Coil, I've been working on them these days... anyway, I want to clarify that I actually listen to a bit of everything. If I limited myself to reviewing bands from the industrial and neofolk scenes, it’s because with over 10,000 reviews, a lot had already been written, and so I wanted to focus on albums that no one had talked about yet, and on certain themes there are indeed significant gaps.
Hello to you too, Aniel... I’m sorry if the review wasn’t very clear. I love this CD (I confirm the rating of 5), but at the same time I understand that it can really suck (all my friends, even the more open-minded ones, hated it!), which is why I don't feel comfortable recommending it unconditionally like I would recommend an album by Pink Floyd or King Crimson! So, what I expressed was more of a personal venting, driven by the desire to talk about this album: in my opinion, there’s substance, but the form can really be an obstacle, especially for those who can’t stomach politicized albums, and this is a perspective that should be taken into account.
