Exodus Impact Is Imminent
Voto:
Thanks everyone for the high votes. Anyway, Francescobus, don’t expect too much, okay? :D It's just a personal opinion about the solos, some of which I think are really beautiful... maybe you prefer those from the previous album, I wouldn't know. In any case, I don't think I'll be writing any more reviews anytime soon. As you can see, I've sent two at once (after such a long time) but only because I had them on my PC and never had the time to edit the HTML codes and perfect them; anyway, they were written at different times because whenever I manage to sit at the PC, I pop onto Debaser, maybe twice, to comment, but to actually write a review, I need a bit more calm. So I don't take on that responsibility :D

Thanks for this review too! @Francescobus: you hit the nail on the head, there's less inspiration here; my praise was mostly directed at the solos, which I find beautiful, captivating, and original. Considering the songs on a macro level, though, I agree with you—the songwriting is of lesser quality, and I mentioned it in the review: "songwriting perhaps not as brilliant as in the past"... but maybe it's not clear, because it seems we have the same thoughts on the album. The only differences would seem to be the judgment on the solos and the rating, but I confess I also considered giving the album a 3; it's just that my respect for Exodus held me back :D

Thank you both, really! For kecco... by violence I mean the musical one, the only way to understand would be to listen to the album ;)

Haha, yes indeed! I quote Aniel, it's a less passionate review than the ones I've usually read related to your name, but still above the general average of the site ;). Before getting to the end, I was wondering if these guys had anything to do with Dissection... apparently not! Oh well.

Do Sepultura have black influences? :| In this regard, I would refer you to the review of Korn's "Arise" by Sepultura. THE TRUTH IS RIGHT THERE INSIDE! As Aniel pointed out in the review of Immortal.

Well, wonderful review, a breath of fresh air amidst the flood of reviews about the black (bleaaah, oh my!!). But allow me a little note, maybe you could have avoided some overly elaborate expressions, but the review is nonetheless quite fluid. I just wanted to nitpick a bit :) forgive me!
